Once upon a time in a land not so far away, actually just up a flight of stairs, lived a small maiden who loved nothing more than to transform, with a wave of one of her magical wands, into a princess.  

I just love this age and stage with our little princess. Nothing is more magical than a little girl in a princess dress. Especially when they add those plastic, glittery heels that clink clink clink all the way down the hallway. Our daughter's collection of dresses has grown exponentially over the years.  I am just a sucker for how darn cute she is all dressed up, and that proud smile when she walks in the room looking like royalty. At least she thinks she looks like royalty and  that is what matters, right? She has been in love with princesses since the age of 1.  In fact, her second birthday party was a fairy tale/princess themed party  Complete with a make your own tiara station and a princess scavenger hunt.  It was the perfect party for her! I love the fact that you don't have to pick just one princess for this theme. And in actuality you don't have to pick any of the Disney princess. Not that we don't just adore the Disney Princesses in this house. But, sometimes you just want to celebrate your own little princess.

When I think of the fairy tale princess party theme I envision bubbles and jewels, and of course there has to be confetti and glitter! What kind of princess party would it be if everything didn't sparkle?  I so wish this blue and silver confetti collection was around when I planned my daughter's party.
